Growing the Church in the Power of the Holy Spirit - Taste and See Retreat --Grand Haven, MI

Psalm 34:8, Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.

For most ministry leaders the last year has been an especially challenging season. The practices and methods of the past may not be workable for the unknown future of the Church.

The answer lies not in learning new methodology, but in learning to cooperate with the Holy Spirit.

You are invited to come away for a time of retreat, personal renewal, and interaction with other pastors and leaders, and Biblical instruction.

We believe Jesus will meet us there and minister his grace to our souls. Together we will explore how Christ grows his church in the power of the Holy Spirit, and how he includes us in the joyful work of advancing his kingdom on earth.

We will learn practices for following the guidance of the Holy Spirit, who is the only one who can lead us into an unknown future with faith and hope.

Testimony from a pastor who attended the conference in 2019:

"The Growing the Church conference was life-changing and faith-changing for me. I had been feeling overwhelmed at the information-overload of ministry tips, tricks, and advice coming at me, and discouraged that any of it would make a difference at my church. This conference both simplified things (follow the Holy Spirit, not the latest church-growth expert) and made ministry more exciting (there are no limits to what is possible when the Spirit is part of the equation). I came away from it refreshed and more hopeful than I'd been in years. That hope has carried over into my church, and I've watched seeds planted, take root, and begin to grow in the two years since I attended. "
