FAN INTO FLAME

"For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands." 2 Timothy 1:6

 

 Are you dry, tired, lonely? Lacking the energy to do the Lord's work? Maybe it's time to gather with fellow Spirit-filled Christians!

We Invite you to fan the flame. Coals warm up when they are closer to the middle, surrounded by other coals.

Paul reminds us: "God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and self-discipline." (2 Timothy 1:7) God has placed his gifts in us. Now we need to reinvigorate them.

We invite you to gather with us March 23rd to fan the flame because this has been a year of change and God doing a "new" thing. New manna, new plans, new vision all mean letting go of what was, to embrace what the Lord is doing in this season.

Moving forward can be filled with joy and anticipation, but also trepidation and grief.

As we are gathering together for prayer, teaching, encouragement and blessings, may we realize what a gift the Lord has given us through this fellowship.

Pray that we move forward in step with the Lord, not rushing ahead, but not holding back.

May the Name of Jesus be lifted High and His Kingdom come in our families, churches and country.

Offering

All events organized by Dunamis Fellowship Canada are offering based.  Registration fees only cover food and supplies that the conference center provides. During your event, you'll be invited to share in the vision of Dunamis Fellowship Canada and give an offering towards the ministry to advance our mission of equipping people to cooperate with the Holy Spirit. Pray about how to participate long before you arrive.

Speakers

Rev. Cindy Strickler

Rev. Cindy Strickler Director of Dunamis Fellowship International The Rev. Cindy Strickler served on the PRMI Board of Directors for 5 years. In 2002 she helped established the PRMI Dunamis Fellowship and is now the Director of the Fellowship.In that role she helps discern gifting and enables members to find their place in this Kingdom work.

Cindy also directs the Advanced Ministry Courses that provide equipping for members of the Dunamis Fellowship. She also determines the teaching teams for the Dunamis Project equipping events in the United States.

Rev. Trevor Payton

Trevor has been ordained as a Minister of the Word and Sacrament in the Christian Reformed Church since 2006, serving churches in Ontario and New Jersey. When Trevor asked some people to pray for him at a Dunamis event in June of 2013, God “broke through” to Trevor’s heart in a way that he had never dreamed possible.

Trevor thoroughly enjoys any opportunity to serve as a Dunamis Project Teacher, because this material has renewed and reshaped his own life so powerfully.
