DP 5 Spiritual Warfare -- Greensburg, PA

DP 5 Spiritual Warfare -- Greensburg, PA

Are we really in some kind of spiritual warfare?

Paul tells us in Ephesians 6:12 that “our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”  What is he talking about, and what else does the Bible reveal about our role and God's role in the struggle against the world, the flesh and the devil?

When we engage in the work of kingdom advancement for the glory of Jesus Christ, we are in direct conflict with the work and agenda of the kingdom of Satan.  Subsequently, we will inevitably come across spiritual opposition, whether subtle or direct. If we are to see the “captives set free,” if we are to remain obedient to the work of Christ, and if we are to have a deeper and more faithful walk with our Lord and Savior, then we must know how to rely on his authority and power when confronted with the reality of evil.

This fifth Dunamis Project addresses the reality of the demonic realm, personal deliverance ministry, the discernment process, the importance and effectiveness of the armor of God as outlined in Ephesians 6, spiritual warfare, and kingdom advancement.

Some of the topics covered include:

  • Introduction to Spiritual Warfare
  • The Believer's Preparation for Spiritual Warfare
  • Personal Spiritual Warfare: The Battle Without
  • Personal Spiritual Warfare: The Battle Within
  • Kingdom Advance, Setting Captives Free, Understanding the Role of Spiritual Warfare

Please consider joining us to learn more about this important topic so that you can be effectively equipped to come against the schemes of the evil one on both a personal and corporate level.

If you are moving in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and seeking to advance the kingdom of God then you will inevitably come across spiritual opposition, whether it is subtle or direct.  This course will give systematic teaching and experience of what that is and how to deal with it.

What is The Dunamis Project?

The Dunamis Project is the central training of PRMI to help you cooperate with the Holy Spirit in whatever ministry you may have, in whatever part of the world you may live. The Dunamis Project is a series of six conferences (four or five days each) over three years where you will discover and learn how to use your spiritual gifts in whatever ministry you have.

With The Dunamis Project, you discover:

  • Solid biblical teaching about the person and work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer.
  • Teaching forged from the Scriptures, proven in ministry, and informed by 200 years of renewal and revival movements.
  • Spiritual gifts and how to use them effectively in the Kingdom of God.
  • How to recognize God’s guidance for ministry in a given moment through the experience-based lab times and review debriefings.

Speakers:

Rev. Linda Ruby

Linda Ruby
Rev. Linda Ruby is currently a PCUSA pastor in Pittsburgh, PA. She has served many small churches who have struggled for their existence and she has witnessed congregations be transformed when they have grasped the importance of prayer, biblical stewardship and spiritual gifts.

She has been involved in teaching, mentoring and sharing about the powerful yet personal involvement of the Holy Spirit as she has witnessed Jesus’ love permeate people’s hearts and bring healing into people’s lives.

Rev. Martin Boardman

Martin Boardman
Rev. Martin Boardman is an ordained minister of Word and Sacrament in the Christian Reformed Church and pastored in Southern Alberta before the Lord opened the door to become Dunamis Fellowship Canada’s Prayer Mobilizer working closely with PRMI in January 2017.

Dunamis answered the questions that he had about the Holy Spirit. It explained some of his life experiences in a systematic and Biblical way and opened the door to drawing closer in intimacy with the Lord. He is still putting in to practice some of the suggestions which were shared during that time.

As a result of his involvement in those Dunamis Weekends Martin became more involved with the work of PRMI and was a part of the founding board for Dunamis Fellowship Canada.

Rev. Betsy Rumer

Betsy Rumer
Rev. Betsy Rumer is Executive Pastor of Ministry at Memorial Park Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh PA, and on the PRMI Board of Directors. She started through the Dunamis Project in the Fall of 2010 after having had an unexplainable and profound experience with the Supernatural.

Since then she has been growing and learning how to cooperate with the Holy Spirit in order to help bring about transformation and healing in others. As a pastor, her passions lie in the area of teaching, preaching, and healing ministry. She has a strong desire to grow personally in the work of the Holy Spirit as well as help others learn and grow in Him.
