Harp and Bowl Equipping

Calling all intercessors and worship leaders!

Learn and practice Harp and Bowl, worship and prayer at the Community of the Cross. This event will be led by Doug and Carla McMurry and will provide foundations for understanding how to participate in and lead Harp and Bowl. There will be opportunities to practice this style of prayer.

Harp and Bowl is a style of worship and prayer. It is characterized by cycling through times of praise and worship, leading into prayer and intercession and then back again into praise and worship. As the prayer group continues to move in an out of worship and prayer, the group works together, praying in agreement and building on one another’s prayers on a particular theme. Praying scripture is used to keep the group on track and praying for God’s will to be done.

This workshop will begin with some foundational teaching on Wednesday evening. Then on Thursday, attendees will have opportunities to participate in practice sessions, followed by debriefing time.

  • Leading in worship
  • Leading in intercession
  • Simply experiencing this type of worship

Note: There is a minimum number of attendees required for this event to take place.

Dates: October 12 – 14, 2022

Location: Community of the Cross. Black Mountain, NC

Note: this will be an onsite-only event.

The event will begin with supper on Wednesday evening and will conclude with lunch on Friday.

 

Registration

There is no charge for attendance. Registration is required so that we can prepare in advance for the numbers coming, specifically with meals that will be provided.

Note: We need a minimum number of 15-20 people for this event to take place

Offering

All events organized by PRMI are offering based.  During your event, you'll be invited to share in the vision of PRMI and give an offering towards the ministry to advance our mission of equipping people to cooperate with the Holy Spirit. Pray about how to participate long before you arrive.
